This is Teds youtube video lesson with Steve Herberman on baroque improvisation part 4 in the series. The transcription starts about 30 seconds into the clip and I transcribed about one minute of music. Baroque music should be written as two seperate lines, top line stems up and bottom line stems down, however I have Finale print music, and I couldn't make it do that, so when two note are played together here you should try to sustain the lower voice until it moves to the next place two notes are played together. Watch the video and you will see what I mean. Have fun with it folks,
Lindsey Blair

I attached the file last night and today it was gone, but when I went to edit my post the attachments were still there but not showing up in the message. I uploaded them again. See what happens

Thanks Lindsey,
I've discovered that if you go in to the post to edit using the "Quick Reply" mode, it will not re-attach the files to the post.  One needs to do edits using the "Go Advanced" option in order for the files to stay attached.  In the "Quick Reply" the files are not deleted, but just invisible.  Weird.
Thanks for your score...I'll be checking it out this weekend!

Hi Lindsey, Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to write out Ted's transcription.  I know it wasn't easy and also it is very tedious to do do.  However it's great for your ears which must be pretty fine to begin with.
Gratefully, Barbara

Will,
I think we're all interested.  I know I am.
thanks for all your efforts on various ted things, and for 'easy chord melody'

Yeah some might find Ted's arrangements a little challenging, at least at first

Go here and subscribe to get the baroque improvisation PDFs for both part 1 and part 4 (the best ones that have the most content and teaching).

I played so much baroque improv I compromised my hand - it's very tight for over a year now and tends to ache when I hold chords. I was working on mostly 2-3 voices based on Ted's amazing videos. Of course I also love improv, comping, chord melody, so there's too much to practice!
