I put together a little Blues based on a blues harmony discussion on Marks Lesson Tapes. There's so much to learn from Ted, I wish I had the opportunityto study with him in person. Thanks Ted, wherever you are!

(Sorry for the sloppy playing and bad recording technique.)

Mike T - very nice! especially your ending - I could definitely hear some "Ted-like influence." Thanks for sharing.  You are learning from Ted!

I feel a bit embarrassed for leaving in that name in the mp3 tags;-)

It was just a joke: I entered my name into the online blues name generator

I'm constantly working with the material I've found on this page here and I really feel grateful for this opportunity (yes I already donated and will donate more in the future).
It's so cool, I mean: which book/teacher would show you in such an elegant way how easily a blues in A_flat can work on the guitar?

Thanks charles and the others!

Remember: it's merely a transcritption of Ted's (improvised!) playing with a twist here and there from my side. I did this as my personal tribute to Ted.

You may dig my playing, Charles,  but I dig your writing :-)

Can't tell you the page number, sorry, although I remember something similar from Chord Chemistry. You know, my room here soon looks like Ted's on the pictures;-)
(from what I saw on the pics on tedgreene.com)

I mean, just stop posting all that material, I can't keep up printing it all out, sorting, studying:-)))

(The small difference of course being that what you see on Ted's pictures was all stored in his head/heart, and I'm just scratching the surface.)

Gretings from deep of my unchained feet;-)

Thanks for the hint to the JP book, it seems to be out of print, though.
Too many guitar books already;-)

Only the very best!
Michael

P.S.: Speaking of out of print books: scribd seems to have quite a lot of guitar books.
