Red River Valley
Ted Greene Arrangement, 1986, March 13

Attached is Ted's original sheet for an arrangement of this old song, which was written up in a private lesson with Richard Hastings.
(I knew Richard from G.I.T. back in 1978-79.  He was an excellent classical guitarist and was expanding into jazz and rock.  Hey Richard, are you out there?)

I created a compilation page that includes Ted's chord diagrams with standard notation. (I didn't add lyrics this time.)

This is a relatively easy arrangement, and it shows some simple things Ted would do to re-harmonize a very basic chord progression.

Enjoy!
