I always keep my eyes peeled on ebay for a copy of Single Note, vol II and I came upon this....

Heck, if that be the case, my tele that burned up in Malibu, which Ted helped me customize, way back, would have been worth????I going back to dig through the ashes again on Los Flares Canyon....

One or two folks who owned (or own) that guitar discussed it elsewhere in forums way back when, if I recall.  I don't know where you'd find it but it should be there, if interested.

Hi All:
It's my guitar and I did write about here a while back.  I got it from Carmi Simon, the original owner and a friend of Ted's in the 60's (our mutual pal Fred Walecki @ Westwood Music was involved in the sale).
The only reason I'm selling it is the "small" mid-60's Gibson nut.  It is an excellent guitar in every respect, action, sounds, playability and vibe. I played it extensively on a recent album project but I need a guitar that has this kind of tonal versatility that I can play out.
If anyone has any questions, let me know.  It would please me greatly if someone from the TG forum community became the next owner.

Thanks,
Clem aka Geoff

I would love to have it, but if I bought it my very next purchase would have to be a divorce lawyer....

Good luck though.  Glad I could help spread the word a little.

The larry carlton re-issue has/had the narrow nut I'm told, so there are a few of us who still like it, I guess.  It can help with some of the 'ted' chords, and double stops.  Anyway - good luck with the sale. Funny f-holes or not i bet it its got 'the sound.'
thanks for confirming my fading memory too.

Leon
