I'm having a really hard time understanding how to read what Ted has written down on these chord diagrams. Are any of these arrangements written out in standard notation. I found some stuff on David Oakes websight that was really helpful, and the things Ted wrote in standard notation are no problem, but I spend hours working on 4 or 5 bars of these chord diagrams. If it were tab or standard notation I could get through 2 or 3 tunes in the time I'm spending on a few bars. I guess you play the dots first then the x, there are circles, squares ,triangles, arrows lines. What do they mean?
