Hi everyone. I've been trying to read this section for about 2 years. It's pretty hard to read Ted's handwriting [smile].I couldn't find out what is writing. Can someone read this chapter for me please?? Thanks.

It says: "Notice that a D(molished)= E(gads)"

It's a joke on the word "Demolished" and the expression, "Egads!" [wink]

TG loved to refer to 'Chord Chemistry' as Chord Catastrophe.

Yet, he was quite proud of the book....in a humble way.
I think he knew that there was nothing remotely like that on the market at the time.

It might be fun for all the old students of Ted to recall and post all the names he gave that book.  There were a lot like "Chord Catastrophe" - all using the CC letters (chord corruption, chord collision) - I can't remember them.  But around the pool table at Dale's store you'd hear folk's (and ted in his room) with names . . Chord Cacophony was one.
Any takers?
