Can someone share a picture or text of the Table of Contents for "Styles for the studio".
(Maybe an excerpt or two too?) Sounds really interesting

Even better!  Here it is in PDF format: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w3iydbyspfgvl2p/SFTS.pdf

One thing I've noticed about this book:  Where page 80 should be, page 44 is repeated.  This is the way the 2nd Ed. was published.  I deleted the 2nd occurrence of page 44, so it skips from page 79 to page 81.  I have no clue what material is missing because of that.  Maybe the 1st Ed. has it?

Thanks Nick.
I hope Leon is okay with his book being made available for free.

Hi Paul,

Much earlier in this thread, Leon mentions providing this book at no cost.  I don't plan to leave this link up for much longer.  My main goal was to test this new service in order to provide my taped lessons, such as Mark Levy so generously shared with us (thanks again, Mark!),  when they eventually are converted to digital and become ready to share.

Nick

Hey Nick,
It will be fantastic to have all your Ted lessons recordings posted. Thanks for doing this.
Regarding Leon's book:  I didn't think he was opposed to the posting, but I just wanted him to give it his approval.
In the meantime, anyone who hasn't downloaded it yet you better do it soon!

Styles for the Studio will soon be back in print.  There will be an official announcement in about two weeks, so if you're looking for it, hold up on paying $40 for an old one.

Unbelievably, Styles is finally back in print.  It is available at StylesForTheStudio.com.  The book had a major major edit, bigger diagrams, and now has over 100 backing tracks and 12 videos.  I'm pretty happy with it.
The first 250 can get 20% off by using this coupon code: 4styles20.  The book is shipped priority and the electronic stuff is available for immediate download. (there are some notes and stuff in the electronic materials so you can get started. Video is 1200x800 mp4 and the audio is mp3).  The download is about 600 meg.

And now this thread can be closed forever.  Thank you Barbara for starting it - I think of you often.
And thanks to all of you who asked for it and have been so patient.  If you know anyone who might benefit from it, please spread the word. Any questions, use the form at the site. I'll respond as fast as I can.
thanks.
