Hi Steve,
Since you say the park is still available for use, then YES.
Yes. at Noon (which would have been 11 on Sat.) Remember the clocks are set forward! FORWARD. B.

Hi Barb

No wonder I'm never on time for anything.  I never changed my watch from last year...

Just now drove by Duck Park again,  and, although there were a few ducks standing in front, on Ventura Blvd, with suitcases, and one with a stick holding a bag over its shoulder, the park gate was open for business!!!!!

Thank you for checking on the park. The ducks leave every evening when the park closes. You know they're not "real" ducks, don't you?

Set your watch forward 2 hours Steve!

B.

So Barb, what shall we call those psuedo-ducks, "quacks"?

I hate this clock-changing game twice a year!  Spring-forward. fall-back!  Not as fun as inebiation!  Like Steve, there are whole states full of folks that don't even participate!  The only advantage I see to all this time-tweaking non-sense is that Steve will be more than ready to play by next Christmas!  That will leave time to work on a Hans Salter theme by next Halloween, right?  Steve, I am looking forward to see you play your show tunes, tomorrow!

Hey

We fianally all met up around 1:00.  Thanks all for a good time.  Alot of real good playing going on...  I always find the TG picnics inspirational.  I never see much eating going on at these picnics, but alot of guitar playing.  Maybe we should start calling them guitarnics, or fretnics or ??  On the way out I asked the guy on duty, and there is NO plan to shut the park down.....

I have pics to post from yesterday's picnic happenings!

Doug & Cindy Miers, visiting from Des Moines, Iowa, joined us.  Doug used to drive 6 hours from Arizona to L.A. just to take lessons with Ted.

In our group photo, from left to right, front row is 'lefty' Steve Brodie, Joey Blackenstoe, Marc & Daniel Blumenreich.  In the back row is Dan Sawyer, Barbara Franklin, Andi Lee, Jackie Traynor, Bob Rissman, Dan Sindel, Bob Holt, and Matt Lee.

I will post more tonight!  Enjoy!

Looks like iI may have taken the wrong copy of the LB disk being handed out at the fretneck..  The one I have has a copy of my cd in it ..  If you want it, send me an email with address, and I'll mail it.

Steve, did you get a LB DVD or did you accidentally pickup an extra one?

Here are the rest of my picnic photos:

It was great to see Bob Rissman aka omobob again.  A jam session between virtuosos Steve and Joey.  Bob making the move on my new blonde.  Marc & son during a gypsy sound check.  Dan putting the squeeze on Marc's L5.

Lets do it again soon!

Yep I got a copy, but it looks like I took someone elses by mistake.(How do I know that??)  I handed out my xmas cd for comments.  Someone put my CD in same ernvelope with their copy of LB.The LB dvd I took from the table had my cd in the envelope too, so, I know I took someone elses by error..If the person who put them in the same env, went home , and only found 1, and wants the other, let me know.  Or, watch the LB twice(prob a better option)...

Steve, if that had a guitar pick in it, it was mine. I must have grabbed your copy by mistake. This envelope just has the LB but no SB!

It was great to see everybody. Those pesky geese were getting violent again, too!
