I just wanted to thank you for all the great stuff you guys put up for June on the TG website! Wow, I can't wait to check out some of those song lists and practice ideas. I don't even have time to write lists like that let alone learn the stuff on them....where did Ted find the time??

Thanks as always for your efforts.

Andy,
Ted didn't perform much.
He was the eternal student and a fabulous teacher.
I think it is difficult to be all of these three at the same time.
Ted focused on teaching, studying, arranging, exploring.
Maybe that's why he had more time for the practice programs.
His playing/performing/recording took a back seat....unfortunately for us in that sense, but if he was playing out all the time would he have left such an enormous teaching legacy?

Hey guys,
Here's an update on the Ted Greene article about Wes Montgomery:
For this month I typed up Ted's unedited article, "Movin' Wes: A High Point in Guitar Artistry."
After it went up with the June New Items I discovered that Ted actually had 2 versions - the second one included a paragraph at the bottom of his original p.7.
I've now added that to the original transcript and to the typed transcription.
So....if you've downloaded that file you might want to delete both of the old ones and get the new versions that just went up today.

Also, I forgot to credit and thank Frank Didiodato for his fine work on transcribing Ted's page:
"Misc. Notes on Solo Guitar Devices"

Thank you....we can always use an extra hand with the material!
