Hey Guys,
The newsletter and new items for April are now up.  Check it out.
http://www.tedgreene.com/news/default.asp
As you can tell, we're focusing on I'll Remember April.  Hope it's not too much all on one song.  Sometime submersion in a single piece is a good way to really learn it.
Body and Soul is also a great arrangement that you should enjoy.
How about that page on Embellishment and Substitution in the "Harmony & Theory" section....whew!  Does that create more questions than it answers? Let's get some dialog going about some of those concepts...anyone care to start a new thread on something on that page?

Hi Paul,
Wow, I'm speechless.
I'll be remembering April for a long time! LOL
Thanks for digging up Ted's arrangement of Heart and Soul. Sounds like Ted took a playful romp through this one. The VI7#9 on the wound strings is a great effect.
The page on II7 is great.
I love how II7 melts into ii7 on its way to V7.
Also II7, bVI7, ii7, V7, I , really makes my ears happy.

The pages on Embellishments and Substitutions seems kinda scary to me. Ted had a pretty deep bag of tricks to draw from. The more I learn the less I know kinda thing.

Thank you and Leon and the others for your tireless efforts to keep Ted's light shinning in this world.  I can only believe that Ted and Barb would be pleased with the loving care that you are all putting into this site.

My best to you,
Keith

Thanks Keith.  Glad you like that stuff we put together...and thank you for the suggestions/requests.  It really helps to decide on the material when someone expresses an interest. Barbara and I spoke a number of times about posting the various lesson sheets, and I think she would be happy that we're continuing with that same spirit.
I think we're due to get some more audio or video posted, don'tcha think?
Hey....do you still have those Ted recorded lessons?

Hi Paul,
Yes I still have them and will put them in the mail this week.
Again, thanks for all your efforts in keeping this site going.
My best to you.
Keith
