"You don't Know What Love Is" by Don Raye and Gene de Paul - 1941. Originally written for the Abbott and Costello movie 'Keep em Flying'. Later made famous by Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins and Chet Baker. Done here on solo guitar, a 1968 Ventura.

A lot of TG chords and approach although I did re-harm it for maximum darkness (I rec'd it on 9/11 of this year).

that is beautiful!....nice job.....thanks for posting!.....I do the same thing....I start with a TG arrangement and try to understand what he was thinking on a tune then go off and find some stuff on my own.....TG' arrangements are a big help in getting started....that is the hardest part for me....just getting it off the ground...…...

I didn't start w/a TG arrangement on this tune though I have certainly done that before.
This one's all mine. Influenced by my time studying with TG but there's a lot of Joe Pass in there too.

*Thank you all for listening and the positive responses!
