One that a friend suggested, Love theme from the 1960 film Spartacus:

Honestly I wasn't too familiar with this one, it may have been 35 years since I've seen the movie, but playing from the lead sheet and watching a few clips on you tube helped it come into shape. Bill Evans' solo recording of this sure is something.

Edit: Added fret indication to last grid, first line.

Dave!!!!
Thank you.  Spartacus was a favorite of Ted's.  At one point he really made a survey of Movies in that genre and the music involved.  He could, as usual, play most of it from memory.  There was an emotion tied to the tonality that really moved him.  Again, I am most grateful.

Heh Ted's version of Sparticus must have been amazing as usual!

Well glad you like my mock-up, I hope it's understandable with the harmonics and all. So far no one has questioned any of these charts and I hope they're notated adequately.

People who post material like you do Dave are reaching tens of thousands of guitarists and musicians globally from here.  You're touching people the way Ted did - music shared and cared for.  To all, like Paul V and Dave, I thank you again.  Players you'll never know are getting the spark from your light.

Thanks Paul.  You are lucky, because the offerings from DAVE which I've been lucky enough to be able to open have been wonderful.  I wonder.... is anybody else having problems opening the NON PDF offerings of Sir Dave?

TIA

But now, inexplicably, they open just fine. Beats me.

Thanks Allen.  I am experiencing what you described, a blank page.  Patience along with the passage of time are what I am counting on to cure the issue.    I am glad you finally were able to open them.   Dave's gifts are fine and dandy in my opinion.

Sincerely  BLC

Here's the bridge/b section to Lil' Darlin':

Lil'Darlin'Bridge.gif

For simplicity I didn't notate to play the chords or dyads on each beat. Personally I was trying to play it comping every beat with at least 2 of the notes.

(Any luck opening these yet BLC?)
