I'm usually the last to know about things, but I just saw the  back of a Merle Haggard artist telecaster on ebay.  It is a set neck - done Fender style I suppose you could say.  I'd started to build one for myself (and with the 3+3 tuner setup).  This answered some questions for me.  But my question is this:
Has anyone played one or owned one?  Any thoughts would be welcome.

Thnks

I never played a Haggard model Leon, but I did own a Fender Special Edition Custom Telecaster FMT HH. It's sort of a cross between a Tele and a Les Paul Special, having mahogany body and two humbucking pickups. I was disapointed in the guitar and sold it quickly.
