As my username suggests, I tune in P4 and have done so for over two decades.  It truly simplifies the fretboard; everything just makes so much sense.  Contrary to popular belief chords are easy in P4 and work extremely well for solo guitar or as some misleadingly call it, chord melody.   I'm a big fan of Ted Greene of course and steal as much as I can absorb from his videos.  I haven't found a single show stopper yet.

I put out a three video series on youtube a couple of years back describing some solo guitar techniques targeted at P4 tuning but applicable to all tunings, non-symmetrical tunings have a lot more forms to memorize unfortunately.  If you're a P4 tuner, you might find these immediately applicable.
