Great playing Ted style.  I watched a few of his other videos which were equally good.  Does anyone know if he goes beyond arrangements into solo guitar (chord melody) improvisation?

Why don't you go to his website and ask him?
http://www.axbmusic.com/guitarra-sola/

(BTW, the site as listed at the end of his video is not correct:  it needs a hyphen between "guitarra" and "sola" as listed here above.)

Thanks for posting the correct website address.  Being a Polytone amp fan since the 80's, I am always on the lookout for tips on what others do in order to get around the infamous reverb - if it can be called that LOL

I emailed Alex and within minutes he responded with 3 ideas.

In my opinion, not only is Alex a beautiful artist, but also a beautiful person.   It's such a pleasure to find yet another such person here in TG land.

Question: What do you call a Polytone amp with a faulty reverb?

Answer:  A polygraph.

I have listened / watched most of Alex's YouTube recordings and I must say I like his playing a lot. Check out his stuff....
I also get the sense that he is a very gentle, kind person.  Somehow that comes across in his music.
I'm sure he and Ted would have been fast friends.

Sad news:
Spanish jazz guitarist from Barcelona, Alex Blanco has passed away on December 11, 2017.

Alex was a member of Veojam.com website for seven years.
His son Angel posted his latest video with Beatles' "She's Leaving Home" cover posthumously.
Today he posted a "In Memoriam" video, a small compilation of arrangements by his father.
In Memoriam Alex Blanco - Veojam

Alex wrote and recorded many tasteful arrangements for solo jazz guitar, all free to review and download on his website http://axbmusic.wixsite.com/guitarrasola which he founded after his 3rd heart attack.
You can also find most or all of them on his YouTube channel.
Since 2010 he uploaded almost 50 videos to Veojam.com website.

R.I.P.

Thank you for the referral to this site.  I noticed that the Ticket to Ride music references Ted Greene
