Hi,
I was curious about the subject of guide-tone line improvisation.
Can anyone contribute any information about it?
Did Ted ever write anything about it?

Ted didn't use the term "guide tones" in his lesson sheets, but I think you're referring to the essential chord tones over a given chord or progression.
Ted taught to visualize the chord shape, the scale, and the arpeggio all in the same position.

Also, for soloing he would sometimes provide outlines for each chord.  See "Cherokee"
